Dr. Shardul Date is a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon trained in doing complex vascular and endovascular procedures. He is one of the first trained endovascular surgeons who have expertise in minimally invasive vascular surgery.

 

Successful treatment starts with an accurate diagnosis. Dr. Date is also well trained in Vascular medicine and has completed his super specialisation in vascular surgery from one of the top institutions in India. He graduated from BJ Medical College Pune and completed his post-graduation from KEM Hospital. He has been trained by one of the pioneers in vascular surgery in India Dr. KR Suresh who is also a well-recognised figure in vascular surgery in the United States of America. Dr Date has also been trained in various countries for advanced vascular treatments. Currently, he works in all major hospitals in Pune.

 

Dr Shardul Date performs more than a thousand Vascular surgeries annually for patients with a broad spectrum of vascular diseases. He is one of the first vascular surgeons to perform difficult surgeries like aortic aneurysm repair on a daycare basis. Dr. Date also specialises in the treatment of laser varicose veins in daycare settings for which He runs a Specialised Vein Clinic.

Dr Date also provides AV Fistula surgery for Vascular access in patients with end-stage renal disease. He has the largest experience in treating patients with gangrene. He has saved more than 1000 limbs with minimally invasive peripheral angioplasty.
